Somebody once asked me what it is that I do; I said, “I serve the future.”
What I actually do is: “I serve the institutions that serve students that serve the future.”

I love #EdTech; been in it since 2004 because, honestly, nothing is more gratifying than serving the future.

Here is a set of “whats” that will tell you more about me:
♦ What do I do?
I help educational institutions make the right decisions that improve the educational experience for their constituents through:
① state-of-the-art technology;
② top class, contemporary and relevant educational content; and
③ advice on improving delivery.

♦ What’s my background?
I built my career from a track record in technology sales, as both an individual contributor and a team leader. I have a unique set of skills that encompass analytics, generating interest, building trust with clients and partners, while working within a matrix internal structure to gain the necessary company commitment to execute successfully.

♦ What have I done so far?
During my journey, I was privileged to work with many institutions and helped:
① increase their operational efficiencies,
② improve skills for both their teachers and students for a better teaching and learning experience, and
③ make education more fun.

♦ What does this mean for you (my profile reader)?
① If you’d like some advice (completely free) on improving your operational efficiencies in your school or university, I’m happy to help.
② If you’re a fellow industry professional and would like to expand your network, I’m happy to connect.
③ If you have an EdTech startup (have an idea for an EdTech startup) and want someone who’s been around the block to bounce ideas off-of, feel free to reach out and connect.

♦ What am I like (@work)?
I am a firm believer in a client centric approach, where client understanding and perceived value are an obsession that drives the strategy. I built strong teams of highly talented resources including technical, functional, sales, pre-sales, and management roles.

♦ What am I like when I’m not on the clock?
① I’m a family guy with 3 lovely (and occasionally “drive me bananas”) kids;
② I’m a heck of a Darts player (and always up for a game and a beer); and
③ I’m an aspiring writer and occasionally write in a blog I created called “Verbal Breakdown”.

I love to talk about education, EdTech, innovations in education, outside-the-box thinking, motorcycles, hiking, books, and pretty much anything interesting!

Feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to connect.

Smiles
Ralph
