Mrs. Rania Jaber Naser started working at her current position as General Director of Tech Innovation Center and Entrepreneurship in June 2019, she managed the policy and strategy department at the General Directorate of E-Governance in the Ministry of Telecommunications and IT from November 2012 to November 2017. She had participated in developing the general policy and strategy of the Artificial intelligence and had established the National Teams for Open Government Data and Artificial intelligence. Currently, she is working on developing Palestine Digital Agenda 2030 and promoting an Entrepreneurship and Tech Innovation at the Ministry. Mrs. Naser has accumulated over 22 years of experience in project management and implementation in the fields of programming and information technology. She had executed numerous projects in cooperation with local partners and governmental institutions in the IT field, such as during her role as an IT consultant for the Health Work Committee, the American Near East Refugee Aid, and the many World Bank-funded projects implemented in numerous governmental and local institutions. She had also worked for Bisan Programming Firm. Mrs. Naser holds a B.S. in Computer Sciences from the University of Jordan, and an M.A. in Sustainable Development (with focus on entrepreneurship) from Al-Quds University. Her M.A. thesis explored the role of business incubators in sustaining entrepreneurial projects in Palestine.
